Emerald Cut Lab-Grown Diamond Stud Earrings, grown in light.

Two clean rectangles, sharp at the lobe. These emerald cut lab-grown diamond stud earrings trade sparkle for long flashes of light and a tailored outline. Settings range from a polished bezel rim to an open basket and a sideways east-west frame. Each listing lets you set metal, karat and weight; 1 carat total weight is available across the range.

Bezel, basket or east-west

  • Bezel: a polished rim wraps the stone, guarding its corners and giving a smooth outline.
  • Basket: four corner prongs over an airy gallery, opening the stone to side light.
  • East-west: the stone lies horizontally across the lobe inside a slim outline.

Weight, color and clarity

Weights are quoted for both earrings combined: 1 carat total weight puts roughly 0.5 carat on each side. Some designs go much larger. On most designs you pick the color, E–F or F–G, and then the clarity, VVS–VS or VS–SI. Any inclusions sit in plain view under a step-cut table, which makes the higher clarity tier sensible as the studs get bigger.

Metals for a step-cut stud

White gold and platinum keep a colorless stone looking bright, while yellow and rose gold give the rim a warmer edge. Gold comes in 10K, 14K or 18K. Silver is offered as Silvadium, a sterling silver alloy built to resist tarnish.

Everyday wear and cleaning

Studs this close to the face pick up makeup and skin oils, which dull the broad table facet. Every week or two, give them a few minutes in mild dish-soap water, then a baby toothbrush behind each stone. Check that the backs hold firmly, and keep the pair in its own soft pouch, apart from pieces it could scratch.

Ring questions, answered.

How do I choose an engagement ring?

Start with the shape she loves, then the setting style. Our gemologists can help you balance carat, cut and budget on a free video call.

Can I build my own engagement ring?

Yes — pick a setting, then a diamond, and review the finished ring before it goes to the bench.

Does the diamond price include the setting?

Diamond and setting are priced separately in the ring builder, and the total is shown before you add the ring to your bag.

How do I find my ring size?

Use our ring size guide, or order a free ring sizer — it arrives in 2–3 days.

Can I return or resize my ring?

You can return it within 30 days (a 10% restocking fee applies to resized or engraved pieces), and your first resize within 60 days of delivery is free.

Should I insure my engagement ring?

We recommend it. Every ring ships fully insured; once it is yours, a separate jewelry insurance policy covers loss, theft and accidental damage.
