Leaf, vine or flower
- Leaf: a gold leaf wedding band with stones along the leaves or in a channel between carved sides.
- Vine: twisted or thorned strands that wrap the finger, with stones scattered along them.
- Flower: petal frames or leaf prongs around a central stone, the closest to a gold flower wedding band.
Light carat weights
Weights are ct tw across the band. A quarter carat or less is typical, since the goldwork leads the design; a few reach 1 ct tw or more. One design is a wider men's band with wheat leaf sides.
Curved and straight shapes
Some bands curve to sit flush around an engagement ring; others run straight and work alone or in a stack. Beside a halo or a low-set head, a curved leaf design closes the gap that a straight band would leave.
Looking after botanical gold
Leaf tips and vine edges are delicate; gentle suds and a baby toothbrush beat any harsh dip. Take the band off before gardening or heavy work, where raised gold can snag. Check small stones in the leaves at least once a year.

We recommend it. Every ring ships fully insured; once it is yours, a separate jewelry insurance policy covers loss, theft and accidental damage.
