Gold Lab-Grown Diamond Solitaire Necklaces, grown in light.

One stone, a fine chain, nothing extra. A gold solitaire necklace keeps attention on a single lab-grown diamond, held in prongs, a basket, a bezel or an open frame. Most are round; princess and other shapes fill out the range. Gold color, 10K or 14K, and stone weight are all set per design.

Prongs, bezel or frame

  • Prong or basket: the most light reaches the stone, so it sparkles most.
  • Bezel: a smooth gold rim, sleeker and less likely to catch.
  • Open frame: the stone floats inside a square, heart, triangle or oval outline for a more graphic look.

Choosing the carat

The weight you pick is the lab-grown diamond on the pendant. Most designs run from 1 to 9 ct, with half-carat steps on some and smaller weights on a few. On the collarbone, 1–2 ct reads clean and everyday; 3 ct and up becomes a focal piece. Because the stones are lab-grown, those bigger sizes sit at a fraction of what a comparable mined stone would run.

Shape and gold color

Round shows the most fire. Princess, emerald and Asscher give a crisp geometric outline; pear, heart and marquise point downward and lengthen the neckline. Yellow gold wraps the stone in warmth and draws a frame around it; white gold lets it stand alone.

Everyday care for a pendant

A solitaire pendant gathers skin oils on its underside, which dulls sparkle fast. A few minutes in sudsy lukewarm water, then a soft brush behind the head, clears that film. Store it flat or hung so the chain does not knot.

Ring questions, answered.

How do I choose an engagement ring?

Start with the shape she loves, then the setting style. Our gemologists can help you balance carat, cut and budget on a free video call.

Can I build my own engagement ring?

Yes — pick a setting, then a diamond, and review the finished ring before it goes to the bench.

Does the diamond price include the setting?

Diamond and setting are priced separately in the ring builder, and the total is shown before you add the ring to your bag.

How do I find my ring size?

Use our ring size guide, or order a free ring sizer — it arrives in 2–3 days.

Can I return or resize my ring?

You can return it within 30 days (a 10% restocking fee applies to resized or engraved pieces), and your first resize within 60 days of delivery is free.

Should I insure my engagement ring?

We recommend it. Every ring ships fully insured; once it is yours, a separate jewelry insurance policy covers loss, theft and accidental damage.
