Milgrain, notches and diagonal pavé
The vintage look comes from small details. Milgrain is a beaded edge that frames the stones and softens the outline. Notched side walls add a carved look from the side. A diagonal pavé dome sets stones at an angle across a rounded top, broken by milgrain bars.
Weight and width
Most designs come in 0.25 or 0.35 ct tw, counting every stone on the band together. These are wide bands, with stones nested low in the metal, letting the gold carry much of the look.
