Round Lab-Grown Diamond Solitaire Necklaces, grown in light.

A single round stone at the base of the throat. A round lab-grown diamond solitaire necklace keeps things to one brilliant point of light, secured by prongs, a low basket or a metal rim and hung from a chain. On each product page you choose white, yellow or rose gold or silver, and the carat weight; every design offers 1 and 2 carats.

Prongs, basket or bezel

  • Open prongs: the most light reaches the stone, so it looks its brightest.
  • Basket: a low cage that holds the stone close to the chest.
  • Bezel: a smooth collar of metal shields the edge and catches on nothing.

Framed or floating

Some designs set the stone inside an outline: a square, a triangle, an open leaf, a double heart or an infinity loop. A framed round solitaire pendant looks larger than its weight. The plain heads let the stone sit on its own, the classic look for everyday wear.

Sizing the stone

Most designs run from 1 to 5 carats total weight, and many go higher. A 1-carat round is a little over 6 mm across; a 2-carat is about 8 mm. Gold is 10K or 14K, and silver here is Silvadium, a sterling silver alloy that resists tarnish.

Day-to-day wear

A solitaire pendant tends to turn on its chain. A bail fixed to the chain, or a slightly heavier chain, keeps it facing forward. Wipe the stone with a soft cloth, and now and then wash behind it, where skin oils collect and dim the sparkle.

Ring questions, answered.

How do I choose an engagement ring?

Start with the shape she loves, then the setting style. Our gemologists can help you balance carat, cut and budget on a free video call.

Can I build my own engagement ring?

Yes — pick a setting, then a diamond, and review the finished ring before it goes to the bench.

Does the diamond price include the setting?

Diamond and setting are priced separately in the ring builder, and the total is shown before you add the ring to your bag.

How do I find my ring size?

Use our ring size guide, or order a free ring sizer — it arrives in 2–3 days.

Can I return or resize my ring?

You can return it within 30 days (a 10% restocking fee applies to resized or engraved pieces), and your first resize within 60 days of delivery is free.

Should I insure my engagement ring?

We recommend it. Every ring ships fully insured; once it is yours, a separate jewelry insurance policy covers loss, theft and accidental damage.
