Vintage Solitaire Engagement Rings, grown in light.
A single stone, ringed by old-world metalwork. These antique solitaire engagement rings let one center take the spotlight while the band carries the period detail: milgrain rims, engraved X patterns, carved foliage and filigree baskets. Metal and band are selected on each setting, and the center diamond is picked afterward as its own step.

Where the period detail lives
- Milgrain rims: beaded borders tracing shank and gallery.
- Engraved shanks: X, scroll and leaf patterns cut into the metal.
- Filigree and cathedral galleries: open arches that lift the center.
Some designs tuck small lab-grown diamond accents into bezels or pavé along the shank while still showing one main stone.
Center shapes for an art deco solitaire ring
Princess, Asscher, pear, cushion, round and radiant shapes suit most designs, and emerald, marquise, oval and heart follow closely. Asscher and emerald cuts echo art deco geometry, while cushion and round centers recall Victorian and Edwardian pieces.
Five metals to pick from
Every design is offered in white, yellow and rose gold (10K, 14K or 18K), platinum, and Silvadium, a sterling silver alloy formulated against tarnish. Yellow and rose gold lean warmest and most antique. Silver settings open under $200; most fall near $600 to $1,250, center not included.
Living with an antique-style band
Engraving and milgrain mellow gently with years of wear, a patina plenty of owners enjoy. Clear the grooves with a fine brush in mild suds, and book a yearly look at the center's prongs.
Ring questions, answered.
How do I choose an engagement ring?
Start with the shape she loves, then the setting style. Our gemologists can help you balance carat, cut and budget on a free video call.
Can I build my own engagement ring?
Yes — pick a setting, then a diamond, and review the finished ring before it goes to the bench.
Does the diamond price include the setting?
Diamond and setting are priced separately in the ring builder, and the total is shown before you add the ring to your bag.
How do I find my ring size?
Use our ring size guide, or order a free ring sizer — it arrives in 2–3 days.
Can I return or resize my ring?
You can return it within 30 days (a 10% restocking fee applies to resized or engraved pieces), and your first resize within 60 days of delivery is free.
Should I insure my engagement ring?
We recommend it. Every ring ships fully insured; once it is yours, a separate jewelry insurance policy covers loss, theft and accidental damage.
