All pavé or half polished
When every strand carries stones, the twist is outlined in light. When one strand stays plain, the turn of the metal shows more clearly and the band looks slimmer. Some carry stones only across the front as half eternity rings, and one is styled as a men's band.

A twisted white gold band suits a solitaire with a plain shank, since the movement in the band fills the space the engagement ring leaves.
