Single-row designs are the slimmest and stack well. Double and three-row bands look wider and richer. Curved and contour bands bend around an engagement ring, while braided, twisted and scalloped designs add texture to a yellow gold pave band.

Living with pavé
Pavé stones are held by very small beads, so avoid hard knocks and gripping gym bars with the band on. A soft brush and mild soap keep the row bright. Store it apart from other rings in a soft pouch, and slip it off before applying hand cream so the beads stay clear. On the rare full eternity styles, where stones circle the whole finger, any size change means remaking the band from scratch.
