How baguettes sparkle
Baguettes are slim rectangles cut in steps. Their long, parallel facets throw wide, mirror-like flashes, quite unlike the pinpoint fire of a round brilliant. Paired with a round or heart stone, baguettes add a crisp, architectural frame. Set end to end in a channel, they read as a single bright line.
Studs or hoops
