Short drop or long dangle
- Close drops: a teardrop, flower or three-stone link hanging just under the lobe.
- Long dangles: linked bezel stations, waterfall rows and chandelier strands that reach toward the jaw.
- Halo drops: a pear or round ringed by smaller stones for a larger outline.
Graduated and mixed shapes
Several designs use graduated stones, small at the top and larger below, so the eye travels down. Others link step-cut, round and pear-shaped lab-grown diamonds in a single drop for a modern, uneven rhythm.
Total weight and comfort

Looking after silver drops
