How a climber sits
A climber goes in through a single standard piercing, and its shaped bar lies along the front of the ear. No second hole is needed. The angle points the stones toward the top of the ear, so the piece looks longer than a stud of the same weight.
Round or marquise stones
Round lab-grown diamonds give even, bright sparkle along the line. Marquise stones are long and pointed, which stretches the design and reads more botanical. Total weight covers both earrings together.
Comfort and care
Because the bar rests against the ear, put climbers on in front of a mirror and adjust until the line lies flat. Remove them before sleeping. Wipe with a silver polishing cloth, and keep the pair in a closed pouch between wears.
