Bare shank or dressed shoulders
A silver ring solitaire can stay minimal or pick up a little shine near the top.
- Plain or tapered: a clean hoop of silver that thins as it reaches the head.
- Pavé or accent row: tiny lab-grown diamond accents sparkle along each shoulder.
- Twist and crossover: the shank wraps toward the head with a ribbon-like curve.
Ten center shapes
Ten shapes cover most designs, from round and cushion to pear and heart. Oval, pear and marquise centers read longer on the hand and spread their weight over a wider face. Step-faceted emerald or Asscher centers give flat, mirror-like flashes, while brilliant shapes like round scatter tiny sparks.
Prong or bezel
Raised prongs hold the center high, so light reaches its pavilion through open gaps. A bezel instead circles the girdle with a continuous collar of silver, shielding it and lowering the profile; nurses, cooks and climbers tend to favor it. Whichever head you pick, the center you add ships with an IGI or GIA grading report.
Silver on a working hand
Sterling bends sooner than gold, which makes a silver solitaire engagement ring a piece for mindful wear. Slip it off before barbells, bleach or soil. A yearly prong inspection by a jeweler, plus a soft brush under the head and a silver polishing cloth at home, keeps it secure and bright.
Ring questions, answered.
How do I choose an engagement ring?
Start with the shape she loves, then the setting style. Our gemologists can help you balance carat, cut and budget on a free video call.
Can I build my own engagement ring?
Yes — pick a setting, then a diamond, and review the finished ring before it goes to the bench.
Does the diamond price include the setting?
Diamond and setting are priced separately in the ring builder, and the total is shown before you add the ring to your bag.
How do I find my ring size?
Use our ring size guide, or order a free ring sizer — it arrives in 2–3 days.
Can I return or resize my ring?
You can return it within 30 days (a 10% restocking fee applies to resized or engraved pieces), and your first resize within 60 days of delivery is free.
Should I insure my engagement ring?
We recommend it. Every ring ships fully insured; once it is yours, a separate jewelry insurance policy covers loss, theft and accidental damage.
