From a slim, rounded yellow gold band, both shoulders curve upward in arches to reach a tall head of claw-tipped prongs. That head carries a heart-shaped center, chosen in the next step, high over the finger, and looking at the ring head-on you can see the prongs cross in curved lines below the stone. Nothing else is set into the metal.
