Metal petals, not a halo.
Polished yellow gold petals open around a fancy green pear-shaped center, chosen in the next step, like a flower in bloom; the center shows between them, held by its own prongs. The petals are plain metal, so the frame reads as sculpture rather than sparkle. Just below the flower head, round lab-grown diamond side stones sit in a row on each shoulder in individual prongs.
