The platinum band has flat sides and crisp edges, a squared shape that widens a little as it reaches the head. It carries no stones, so all the light gathers at the top, where a pear-shaped center, chosen in the next step, is held in rounded prongs. Around it, lab-grown diamond accents form a closed halo in short grouped sets, with the center's prongs falling in the gaps between them. Angled supports lift the halo over an open gallery.
