A halo with a clean metal edge.
Prongs hold a fancy pink princess-cut center, chosen in the next step, inside a continuous halo of small lab-grown diamonds. Around the halo's outer edge runs a smooth band of polished white gold, closing it off like a bezel and giving the top a sharp, tidy outline. The straight, flat-sided shank carries a single row of bead-set stones down each side from the shoulders, then finishes in plain polished metal underneath.
