Metal petals, not a halo.
Polished white gold petals open around a fancy pink radiant-cut center, chosen in the next step, like a flower in bloom; the center shows between them, held by its own prongs. The petals are plain metal, so the frame reads as sculpture rather than sparkle. Just below the flower head, round lab-grown diamond side stones sit in a row on each shoulder in individual prongs. The rest of the medium-width band is smooth, and an open gallery shows under the head in profile.
